TRAI wants Per-Second Tariff

TRAI is planning to make the one-second pulse a mandatory tariff option for all operators and will soon come out with a consultation paper on the same.

Interesting to note that wastage per call amounts to 18% – i.e. customers do not use 15-20 seconds of call, but are forced to pay for it. [more]
