Google’s parent company Alphabet now comes before Apple on the list of the world’s most valuable companies. Alphabet Inc. earned $4.9 billion on revenue of $21.3 billion in the fourth quarter, an increase from $4.7bn a year ago.
That means Alphabet is now worth around $568bn, compared with Apple, which has a value of $535bn.
