If you’d like to track the election result live, here’s a ready list for you.

The biggest election in the history of democracy took place in India this month. Over 8.14 crore (814 million) people cast their votes in the Lok Sabha elections. On Friday, May 16th we will know who gets to form the government at the center. If your day job keeps you away from the TV set, or you just prefer to get information from the internet, here is a list of online services and apps to help track the election result live.

Google and Live Streaming of Election on YouTube

The search engine Google has done an incredible coverage of the Indian election of 2014 thus far. It tied up with several news channels to provide updates on news and will be offering live coverage on its election page. If you prefer video coverage, you can check out the Live stream section too. You can set the audio to your preferred language.

The Press Information Bureau (PIB) & Election Commission Website

The nodal agency of the Government of India, Press Information Bureau (PIB) in collaboration with the Election Commission of India will provide you real-time result updates. The webcast will begin at 8 am. You can check it here. The Election Commission will also provide live election results. You can check out their website here.

Microsoft & India Election 2014

Microsoft has tied up with Network18 to provide election updates to its users. You can check the application which is available for Windows 8 and above and Windows Phone 8  to keep a tab on the results. You can also catch live streaming on the application.

WikipediaAndroid App to Track Elections Live

This app lets you keep track of the elections on your Android phone. The results are being pulled from the election commission’s website. The Election Commission of India will be overseeing the complete electoral process, and their website will have most of the information you need. Download here.
