Buddy enables college students to buy e-commerce products via short- and long-term payment plans, which they otherwise would be unable to purchase. The company was founded in 2015 and currently has presence across 100+ colleges in Bangalore.
In January 2016, SnapBizz had announced a Series A funding of $7.2 million led by Jungle Ventures, Taurus Value creation, Konly Venture and Blume Ventures. SnapBizz currently works across Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore and aims to expand its footprint across other tier 1 and 2 cities.
RentSher is a marketplace for rental products with end to end services from choosing and booking the product online to delivery and pick-up. It is currently operational in Bangalore and Delhi. RentSher is founded by alumni of IIT Delhi and Oxford University – Abhijit Shaha, Harsh Dhand and Karandeep S Vohra.
Delhi based e-commerce player Snapdeal has raised $200 million led by Canada’s Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Iron Pillar and other investors also participated in the funding round. The company had earlier raised $500 million from Alibaba Group, Foxconn Technology Group and existing investor Softbank Group.
The startup had earlier raised a seed funding of $1.5 million in January 2015. Aasaanjobs’ tech backed solutions speeds up the process of recruitment by connecting matched candidates to recruiters. The company operates a marketplace of recruiters who help in addressing the employer’s recruitment needs.
