3G auction is over and after 34 days/183 rounds, the pan India license has touched Rs. 16,828 crores. Though not a single firm came up as a pan-India winner, both Bharti and Reliance won 13 of the 22 telecom zones.
While questions are being raised over the skyrocketing bidding price, Operators will have to raise funds from the outside market and the liability will eventually be passed on to the consumer.
