Yahoo is dead. But if you were a kid growing up in the 90s or early 2000s, Yahoo was the hip internet sensation.
My first email (embarrassing one) address was Yahoo. And my first chat with random strangers in virtual private rooms was Yahoo.
While it might be selling off its stakes to Verizon, and renaming itself as, Altaba, Yahoo will always be remembered as one of the great pioneers of its time.
