The Information Technology, Electronics and Communications (ITE&C) department of Telangana is working on integrating a chatbot with the State’s Registration and Stamps department. It will provide citizens with details such as the location of sub-registrar offices (SRO), and the payments needed to register property, society and marriages.
It is based on robotic process automation, which requires a series of instructions to automate rule-based processes. This chatbot will also allow online payment for registration, eliminating the need for visiting SRO. It will ease up the process and will free up employees to carry out other important tasks.
