TRAI has sent recommendations to the Department of Telecom that electronic KYC of Aadhar must be taken as one of the documents for getting a new mobile connection.
The recommendations were sent 15 days ago. The Government after deciding the norms, will enable instant identity verification using Aadhaar card biometrics data. This move will help to fasten and easily verify the users.
This will help to enhance security and also make the process paperless.
