Accel Partners Sells $100mn Worth Of Flipkart’s Stake To Qatar Investment Authority

Accel Partners has sold a fractional amount of its stake to Qatar Investment Authority for $100 million. However, the transaction has not been confirmed by Flipkart or Accel Partners. Qatar Investment Authority invested in Flipkart in December 2014 when Flipkart raised $700 million.

Flipkart’s second largest stakeholder, Accel Partners has sold a fractional amount of its stake to Qatar Investment Authority for $100 million.

However, the transaction has not been confirmed by Flipkart or Accel Partners.

Qatar Investment Authority was one of the five early investors in Flipkart in December 2014 when Flipkart raised $700 million at a valuation of $11 billion. Today, the e-commerce player is valued at $15 billion.
