Acer India has announced the launch of new tablets under the Iconia series. Out of the two tablets announced, one of the devices will be running Windows 7 (Iconia W500) and the other, Google’s Android Honeycomb OS (Iconia A 500).
The tablets are powered by dual-core NVIDIA® Tegra™ 2 CPU and HD-optimized graphics (from the ultra-low power NVIDIA® GeForce® GPU) with Flash 10.2 support.
The 10.1” high-resolution multi-touch screen and ultra-sensitive gyro meter makes the Acer ICONIA TAB A500 a formidable gaming platform with premium HD arcade games and complex online 3D games.
Price of Iconia Tablets in India
The Android tablet is priced at Rs. 27,900 and Windows 7 tablet is priced at Rs. 32, 499/.
Both the devices boast of a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display, are 13.33 mm thick and boasts of a full size USB port along with a mini USB port, HDMI output, Micro SD card slot and SIM Card support.
Also, Acer has announced the launch of 7 inch Android tablet, A100 and 4.8 inch Android smartphone, Iconia Smart and Iconia dual screen notebook which is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor and runs on Windows 7.[more details on Acer site].
