Ahmedabad man loses Rs 40 lakh in online job scam

  • Devang Chauhan, a 3D designer from Ahmedabad, lost Rs 40 lakh to scammers after taking a part-time job promoting YouTube videos.
  • The victim paid Rs 30 lakh for more tasks. Upon attempting to withdraw earnings, his account was blocked. The scammers extracted an additional Rs 11 lakh for ‘taxes’ to release his blocked payment.
