Experts feel that even though AI is creating 10 new jobs, these are at the expense of 100 being made redundant in the traditional technology. As per the industry leaders, the new jobs are not being created at the same pace as the positions are being eliminated.
With the emergence of new technology and job roles, there is a requirement of skilled manpower, hence companies end up training the existing workforce to meet the demand.
According to Intel’s India head Prakash Mallya, training people on AI outside the industry needs support from the ecosystem and collective efforts from various companies.
