A study titled ‘Future Ready Business: Assessing Asia Pacific’s growth potential through AI’, was conducted by Microsoft and IDC Asia-Pacific. The report suggested that AI will speed up innovation by 2.2 times and enhance the productivity of employees by 2.3 times in India. Over sixty percent of business leaders and workers in India believe AI will help reduce repetitive work and enhance their capability.
The study also states that India needs to work on cultural changes and skill development of workers to integrate AI with the system, to avoid missing out on competitive advantage provided by this technology.
