Gurgaon based startup Airwoot has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from a group of angel investors, according to a report. The startup helps businesses to connect with their customers on social media channels, solve their complaints and leverage customer support analytics.
Rajan Anandan of Google, Sasha Mirchandani of Kae Capital, Sunil Kalra and Samir Sood were part of the round. Airwoot, a product of Memetic Labs, was a part of the 12 companies in the 8th batch of The Morpheus, the Chandigarh based accelerator.
Sasha Mirchandani of Kae Capital said “I believe they will make a tremendous difference in this new world of social customer care,” (Via)
The company was co founded in 2012 by Saurabh Arora and Prabhat Saraswat, Achal Aggarwal joined on later as the third co founder. Airwoot said that it plans to use the raised funds to develop technology and hire talent.
