The Chinese e-commerce giant’s affiliate shopping website Juhuasuan.com will be launching the world’s first e-commerce satellite, to provide consumers with the best vegetables after analysing agricultural cultivation and harvesting data.
The project, which will be launched in 2017, is in cooperation with the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology and the China Space Museum. The three parties aim to develop a series of customized products with the help of satellites, the Chinese media reported.
