FYI: 40% of the total number of colleges in Anna University have filled less than 10 seats each !

Wake up time for India’s education system.

As per Anna University and its affiliate colleges:

  • More than 40% of the total number of colleges in the state have filled less than 10 seats each.
  • 71 have not filled even a single seat
  • Only 47 of the 473 self-financing colleges have filled more than 30% seats (via)

Time to shut down most of these colleges? Time for kids to think beyond an education system like this? Time to go entrepreneurial ?
