It is that time of the year again when we get everyone together and make sure they have a good time.
After the super success of UnPluggd 1.0, I am glad to announce UnPluggd 2.0 – next is here and you are invited. 
As with technology, we have made it a point to constantly re-invent ourselves. We do not want to be in the rut of “What” events or self laudatory “sponsors speak and others listen” events. This one is for the startups and for the first time – with due apologies to Lincoln – of the startups too.
In our continual commitment to change – we have UnPluggd scheduled in New Delhi Bangalore (*) this time. We didn’t get permission to use the CWG stadium (they said it wont be complete by then), so we are still looking for a suitable venue. The D-day/Venue is going to be announced very soon.
So what is up at UnPluggd this time?
Leaders from different areas – Our effort to have leaders from the industry (not only technology) in the last event drew a lot of good words from everyone. People in the “dhanda” told the techies about how to do dhanda – and people in the tech field told the dhanda guys how technology can help them. We will continue on the same lines here with a selected bunch of entrepreneurs and investors from varied areas – you can bet it will teach you one new thing or two.
Start@UP – Thats the codename for something special in the works. We have had a lot of interesting emails from startups and from investors asking us to connect them. Being the most widely read tech blog in India – we are uniquely placed to do this. So to kick it off, we will have a select few startups present to a panel of esteemed VCs and Angel investors. The presentations (not in a strictly PowerPoint sense) would not only showcase their products to the world (some for the first time) but also open up a channel for them to interact directly with the investors.
Showcase – Apart from the 10 startups which will be presenting to investors and we would have some more startups direct 1:1 with the audience and the investors. They will showcase their products and have a first hand experience of customer feedback.

Nomination Dates will be announced very soon. This is a heads-up to startups/geeks to start working on their product pitch.
This time, UnPluggd will be much bigger and much more awesome.
