Dr. Kapoor was recently awarded a Doctorate in Science (Honoris Causa) from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology towards his enormous contribution to the Indian Food & Agriculture sector.
Dr. Kapoor is the Deputy Chairman of the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA), the apex Banking Association in India; and Co-Chair of the IBA Committee on Agri Business and Financial Inclusion. Dr. Kapoor has also been appointed as a Member of the Board of Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry as well as a Member of the Board of Governors, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (Ministry of Corporate Affairs).
