Apple Declares 12-Inch MacBook Obsolete, Provides No Further Service

  • Apple has added the original 12-inch MacBook, introduced in March 2015, to its obsolete products list, ending all repair and service.
  • The MacBook was the first to feature Apple’s controversial butterfly switch keyboard design, which was prone to failure and eventually scrapped from all MacBook models.
