Early Adopters Of The Apple Watch Will Have A Lot Of Apps To Play With

Apple has taken the wraps off the Apple Watch section of its App Store, which is accessible through the Apple Watch app on the iPhones 5, 5C, 5S, 6, and 6 Plus running iOS 8.2 or 8.3.

According to WSJ, the store already contains as many as 3,000 apps built for the Apple Watch, meaning early adopters of the device will have quite a lot to play with from the word go.
The App Store, which is accessible via the Apple Watch app is much like the regular App Store, with featured categories and a search function.
Apps in this part of the store are represented by their round Apple Watch icons, and tapping them will reveal screenshots of the respective iPhone app.
This is because apps for the Apple Watch are contained with their respective iPhone apps, so users are basically install them on their phones rather than watches directly.
In the standard App Store, apps which provide support for the Apple Watch are now marked with a round badge. Not all Apple Watch compatible iPhone apps seem to be listed on the App Store for the Apple Watch however.
Apple watch deliveries begin today, and earlier reports suggesting orders will be stretched out into May and June don’t seem to be quite accurate at this point of time.
