Apple’s Sales In India Grows By 56% During March Quarter; Plans To Expand With 4G Services

Apple claims that its sales in India during the January-March quarter grew by 56%.

Apple now plans to focus on the market and CEO Tim Cook has also said that the company needs to emphasize on the emerging markets “where it’s clear there will be disproportionate growth versus the more developed areas.”

The company also plans to grow and expand in India with its 4G services. It has also increased its retail distribution and will take the high-end phone will now be available with every small shop.

Apple had earlier reported that its sales dropped in the quarterly revenue growth in 13 years, which fell by 13% due to drop in global iPhone sales.

Apple CEO also highlighted that “The company is betting on India for the long term and the country is now at a place where China was about seven to ten years ago.”
