About Archit Gupta
Archit is an IIT Guwahati alumnus. In 2008, Archit dropped out of his Ph.D. course at University of Wisconsin to join Data Domain Inc, a startup which got acquired by EMC for $2.4 billion.
Archit then returned to India and started ClearTax along with his dad, who is a renowned CA. The motivation behind starting ClearTax was that there was a huge lack of information while tax filing. And there was a great scope of creating a great tech product for filing taxes.
ClearTax has over 1M satisfied users as of now and aims to touch 3M this year.
