Are top tech companies involved in making autonomous weapons?

A survey has raised an alarm that major Tech companies, involved in military contracts, might help develop killer autonomous weapons. 50 companies across 12 countries were a part of this survey.

It points out that only 7 companies, including Google, Softbank, Vision labs and Animal Dynamics, etc, followed best practices in context to lethal weapon development.

While 21 companies fell into high concern category. Companies like Microsoft, Intel, Amazon, Anduril, Clarifai, Palantir and AerialX (Canada) that are probably involved in developing technologies which could kill people on their own, chose not to clarify their stand.
