Ashamed of Our Mobile Phones in India, Says LG’s MD

Admitting that the company’s mobile phones segment is performing badly, LG India MD Kim Ki-Wan called its market share in the country as “shamefully poor”.

In a candid confession, Ki-Wan said he feels LG’s phones are not India specific products, which might be the reason why the company hasn’t seen much acceptance in the Indian market.

Ki-Wan also announced that its flagship V20 smartphone might be launched in India within a month. The LG V20 will be the first non-Nexus device to be launched with Android Nougat.
