Ayojak, a year old startup has revamped it’s offering and now offers useful utility tools/services to event organizers (earlier it was a typical web2.0 UGC driven event site).
Ayojak, in new avatar enables users/small and medium businesses to organize conference event, ticketing event, membership/group event and social event. Features offered includes event registration, attendee management, payment processing, ticketing, reporting and promotion.
The portal also allows one to put up event services (like catering etc) in the marketplace and let vendors/service providers bid for it.
Creating paid event in India is a big pain and I have seen couple of event organizers struggling with ‘how do I ask people to pay’ kind of questions (paypal is ofcourse not the preferred route)? Ayojak does solves this (we haven’t tested the service yet), by enabling you to link your bank account while creating the event.
Ayojak’s suites of apps are:-
- Social Event (Friends get-together, alumni, Coffee meets, etc)
- Ticketing Event (Sell event tickets for events like Music concerts, Seminars, etc)
- Group Event/Meetups (Specific Hobbies/interest meetups like Blogger Meetup, PHP Meetup, etc)
- Conference Event (Corporate conference such as Online Marketing Conference, etc)
While all this sounds great, the real business lies in building relationships with the venues and building a sales channel for them (there is a huge opportunity in event space, given the demand/supply gap) and build an enterprise service around the concept.
