Bajaj auto is set to unveil personal electric two-wheelers under Urbanite brand on October 16th. The President of Urbanite business unit of Bajaj Auto, Eric Vas reaffirmed the company’s commitment towards electric mobility and aims to make it a significant player in coming years.
As per Vas, as more consumers realize the importance of EVs and zero emission vehicles, it will drive innovation in this sector.
He also felt that ICE powered two-wheelers will stay in the market as of now and hopes that with the reduction of battery costs, the price of e-vehicles will come down too.
