Bangalore airport gets ‘Face id’ check-in

Bangalore airport is now enabled with Face ID check-in system (for domestic flights only) and once you register your biometric data on a kiosk, you will be able to pass through the terminal, security check and the boarding gate without any hassle or even showing your boarding pass.

The tech backend is provided by Vision-Box, a Portugese company.

What about privacy? Well, the official claim is that face data is not captured and stored on any server or database and also complies with GDPR.
