BCCI Website Hacked & Defaced With Image Of Bangladesh National Cricket Team

The official website of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, BCCI.TV, has been defaced by a hacker who goes by the name Ashik Iqbal Chy.

The message on the ‘About Us’ page on the BCCI site has the message “Don’T MesS UP WitH TiGeRs !” along with the image of the Bangladesh national cricket team running with the Bangladeshi Flag.


Hackers have been on a spree, attacking Indian websites over the year, just in August 2013, A hacker, who called himself ‘PhrozenMyst’ stole sensitive data from India’s defense establishments and posted it on Kim Dotcom’s new file sharing website Mega.

The hacker accessed data related to India’s space agency and the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) and the website of Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL).
