Unless you’re constantly on Twitter all day, there’s a good chance that you’re missing out on a lot of cool/informative things.
Trying to solve just that, Twitter has released Highlights, a feature that will deliver the best tweets based on your interests, via push notifications.
In order to select what Tweets you see in Highlights, Twitter will look at popular accounts and conversations among people you follow, tweets from people close to you and what’s trending nearby.
Opting in for Highlights is simple. Just get to Settings>Account Handle>Mobile Notifications under which users can select the Highlights box. Twitter says turning on the feature will result in users getting up to two push notifications daily.
Highlights is available for the Twitter app only on Android currently, but the company says it will refine the feature and consider rolling it out to other platforms.
