Today, the government is launching BharatQR.
BharatQR is a common QR code – jointly developed by all the 4 major card payment organizations — NPCI (i.e. RuPay cards), MasterCard, Visa and American Express.
With BharatQR, you don’t need to know the seller’s mobile number. Just like Paytm QR scanner, just scan the QR code of the seller and make the payment using BHIM app.
Plus, BharatQR will also facilitate acceptance using Aadhaar-enabled payments and Unified Payments Interface (UPI) (via)
Isn’t the govt inspired by Paytm’s exponential growth?
