Twitter cofounder, Biz Stone has made an investment in local app, Lookup (part of $3mn Series A) and has joined the team as an advisor.
Lookup raised a total of $382,000 in its seed round, from multiple investors including Infosys’ Kris Gopalakrishnan, Teru Sato, DeNA and MKS Group (Switzerland).
Started by Innoz’s Deepak Ravindran, Lookup claims to have 3 million messages exchanged every month (200K downloads, 10K merchants). Lookup recently launched Lookup LITE which helps users to chat seamlessly with local stores in their vicinity and also with the Lookup team of experts that is always available to assist them in their purchase decisions.
