Bluesky introduces self-tagging, new media tab, with increased focus on user content

  • Bluesky allows users to self-tag posts, beginning with NSFW categories, for automatic filtering.
  • In addition to self-tagging, Bluesky has also introduced a ‘Media’ tab to profiles.
  • The measures come amid criticism of Bluesky’s handling of hate speech and introduction of an algorithmic feed called ‘Discover’ last month.
