If you were of the opinion that super cool, sci-fi cars were made for movies only, you are wrong. Antimon is a BMW 3-series car that can transform from car to robot in under 30 seconds, making the idea of owning a real-life Transformer a reality.
Developed in 11 months by a group of 12 engineers and 4 technicians from Turkey, Antimon can be moved by remote control at speeds up to 20 kilometers per hour and is capable of moving its hands and turning its head.
The only downside? The robot is not road ready. However, Letrons, the startup behind the transformer, says that is the next step for the team, apart from hoping that one day it can let humans operate the bad ass machine from the inside.
Antimon is up for up for auction in Abu Dhabi, for $600,000 to make a bid.
