BookMyShow has acquired fan relationship management and analytics startup Fantain Sports for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition will help BookMyShow to increase the user base and get insights about sports fans. The platform now plans to focus more on sports category.
Chennai based Fantain Sports caters to sports category and provides fan insights, engagement and monetisation on its fan relationship management platform.
The platform was founded in 2013 by Anand Ramachandran, Vivek Venugopalan and Aravind Ramachandran.
