Bigtree Entertainment, which operates the movie and event ticketing website BookMyShow, has reported revenues of Rs 236 crore for the financial year FY16 and posted a profit of Rs 3.17 crore. This profit comes after the company reported losses for two consecutive fiscal years. In FY15, the company reported a loss of Rs 13.52-crore and in FY14 it was at Rs 3.98 crore in losses.
The company in July raised over $80m in venture capital funding from the US-based Stripes Group.
