Bangalore-based bot prevention software provider, ShieldSquare has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Venture Highway (through VH Capital) along with Vishy Poosala, Engineering Director at Facebook and existing investors. The funding will help ShieldSquare expand further into the global market, and also strategically enhance the product with new features, the company said.

Founded in 2013 and graduated from Microsoft Accelerator, ShieldSquare helps secure online businesses from various types of bot threats, like content scraping, price scraping, form spam, and a lot more. Axel Springer Group, Purch and Navent are some of the customers using the product.
