BoxTV Launches Carrier Billing & New Plans

boxtv-logoBoxTV, Time Internet’s on-demand video service, has launched carrier billing along with a range of new subscription packs ranging all the way from small 3 day packs up to yearly packs.

With the new integrated mobile payment system, users of smaller duration packs of 3, 7, and 15 days, can pay directly from their mobile phones. The prices range from Rs 49 (3 day pack) to Rs 99 (7 day pack) and Rs 150 (15 day pack).

All a customer needs to do is to select the plan and enter their mobile numbers on the BoxTV website. The user will then receive a one-time password which once submitted, activates the plan for the given duration. The payment will be charged to the customers mobile bill or deducted from his balance.

This process does not require any credit information of the user to watch the content available on their BoxTV subscription at any time.

For the long-term users, the plans range from Rs 199 for a monthly plan to an yearly plan priced at Rs 1499. In order to subscribe to these plans, users will need to use their credit cards.

Earlier in February this year BoxTV partnered with Sony Pictures Television and Disney UTV to bring movies and television shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Lost to the Indian viewer.

Similarly in July this year, BoxTV tied up with Amkette to offer the Amkette’s video-on-demand service on EvoTV to its subscribers.
