Activity Based Networking Startup Brigge Raises Funding Led By The Chennai Angels

The Chennai Angels (TCA) has announced an investment in Brigge Technologies, engaged in developing an activity based social network called “Brigge” that aims to bring real world interactions back into social networking.

Brigge Technologies was founded in early 2015 by Prasanna Jagannathan – a Silicon Valley veteran, Sampath Jagannathan – a Product Management specialist and Murali Satagopan – a Marketer/Stand up comic.

“Our mission at Brigge is to use technology to help like-minded people connect and do exciting things in their leisure. With an intuitive and delightful user experience backed by a rock solid technology architecture and carefully thought-through features, Brigge has been built to revolutionize the way people approach their leisure. There are things we all have to do – but for the things we want to do, there is Brigge” say the founders Prasanna, Sam & Murali of Brigge Technologies.

Brigge is a social platform where people can discover and participate in activities happening in their areas of interest. Apart from discovery, Brigge also lets people create activities that other like-minded folk can join.

Brigge users can also share updates and photos within the activity. They can create “Spaces” to showcase their personal brand, organization, group or community.
