BuildaBazaar has launched third party app store, giving BuildaBazaar merchants new features and tools to increase sales and improve customer experience on their BuildaBazaar stores.

Now merchants using BuildaBazaar platform can connect their stores with hundreds of third party applications. All they need to do is to follow simple sign up steps as explained for each application.  This app store will provide multiple benefits to BuildaBazaar merchants; applications are classified into 7 categories viz. Featured, Customer Support, Marketing, Payment Gateway, Mobile Apps, Social Media and Analysis.

Started in 2011, BuildaBazaar claims that the platform is used by 25,000 online retail stores. Competitor, Shopify which launched in India last year has made good inroads in the space (5000 customers within the first year of launch) and opening up the platform is a great way for BuildaBazaar to increase the average ARPU (average revenue per user).
