We earlier reported that starting July 1st, Facebook developers in India can use Facebook Credits (as an alternate payment mechanism) to charge for their apps. In India, Facebook offers payments via Mobile, MOLePoints, Moneybookers and Western Union QuickPay.
Facebook and MOL (MOL AccessPortal Berhad ) have now announced a partnership that now enables purchase of Facebook Credits via MOLPoints in India. The partnership allows Facebook members to buy Credits using MOLPoints on Facebook or on MOL’s website.

MOLPoints is a virtual currency that is popular among online users in Asia. Using MOLPoints, one can get Facebook Credits, Zynga Game Cards, MMO credits and popular US console game cards. MOLPoints is used in more than 2,000 online games and the payment partners in India include Sify, itzcash, ccavenue, RelianceWorld, OxiCash, Paymate, Western Union etc.
