Tata Value homes, a subsidiary of Tata Housing has launched its exclusive eCommerce platform today. Tata houses were earlier available for booking exclusively through Snapdeal and Tata had confirmed major increase in bookings through the online medium (link). TVH has housing projects in cities like Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune and Chennai.
Houses on TVH can be booked by making an online payment of 30,000 INR. The houses range between Rs 29.9 lakh to Rs 59.9 lakh depending on the size of the apartments.
“Based on the in-depth analysis of customers who have booked our value homes online last year, it has been observed that 39% of them did so with intent to live in them with their families. With the increasing internet penetration, the new platform builds on the vision of being the largest provider of homes,” Brotin Banerjee, Managing Director Tata housing, told PTI.
TVH has so far sold over one million sq ft of residential space, which translated into over 700 units generating over Rs 300 Crore worth revenue. TVH will launch three more projects under the affordable housing segment in the next few months in cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata which will add another 15,000 units. He said the company may invest up to Rs 1,000 Crore for new projects.
