US based CA Technologies has invested in IDG Ventures India to fund startups in the enterprise software market, the company said.
The amount of investment made into IDG has not been disclosed. IDG India has been raising a second India fund of $175 million since February 2013.
The company has invested in over 20 Indian startups including affordable healthcare startup Forus Health, Heckly Technologies and FirstCry.
IDG Ventures’ lead investor is the International Data Group. With the partnership, CA Technologies seeks to explore enterprise software startups in India that could also be potential acquisitions.
