Deyor Camps, run by Deyor Adventures Pvt. Ltd, has raised $500,000 in funding from Nitin Passi, Manickam Mahalingam, Udaan Angels, and Arkas Industries. This is the second round of funding for the company since its inception this year. In July, Tech Travels Pvt. Ltd, which runs the travel portal Travel Boutique Online had bought a strategic stake in Deyor Adventures.
The funding will allow the startup to venture into the south and southeast Asian markets and also to increase its campsites from the current 100 to 300 by the end of the year. Founded in January by Dheeraj Jain, Chirag Gupta, Aakaar Gandhi and Gautam Yadav, Deyor Camps focuses on adventure activities such as paragliding and trekking.
