With an increasingly large number of goods and services moving onto digital platforms, cash still rules as the king of payments in India and average withdrawals from ATMs have reached a record high of Rs. 5,000.  Despite UPI payments touching 2 billion Rupees, cash withdrawals have increased 10% compared to 2019, November.
