AMA On Crisis Management & How To Plan For The Next 12 Months With Aloke & Rajnish, Co-Founders @ ixigo [Wednesday]

NextBigWhat Huddle has been created to ensure that working remote does not get boring and you continue to get insights + real-world lessons from founders and product leaders on building and scaling product-led businesses.

On Wednesday (April 15th), we have Aloke Bajpai, CEO & Co-Founder & Rajnish Kumar, CTO & Co-Founder @ ixigo joining us for an AMA on Crisis Management & How To Plan For The Next 12 Months.

This is an extremely difficult time for entrepreneurs and startups around the world and many of them will have to deal with new & difficult realities. As founders of one of India’s most successful travel platforms, that has survived many ups and downs, Aloke & Rajnish are very well placed to guide founders and teams on how to deal with the current crisis.

Over the past few years both Aloke and Rajnish have shared some unique perspectives on what guides their philosophy behind ixigo. From ‘Building For Bharat‘ to Being A Cockroach Startup‘, they have made a notable contribution to the Indian startup landscape in helping entrepreneurs navigate their way through very desi problems.

This time though, we’re dealing with a global pandemic that threatens to derail the world for many months to come. How is ixigo looking to tackle this? And what is their advice to other founders and entrepreneurs? Can startups even plan for something like this? Rajnish & Aloke will be answering all of this and more. Don’t miss out & make sure to register.

Our leadership team agreed on taking a 60%+ pay-cut graded by pay, and for the rest of our company, the mutually agreed pay cut level would be a function of the actual compensation level varying from 20% to 50% pay cuts. We will reinstate the salaries as soon as the situation improves and we will also convert the accumulated salary deductions over the hardship period into equivalent ESOPs so that everyone benefits from future upside when the going gets better again

ixigo cofounder, Aloke. [via]

AMA On Building A Bootstrapped Global SAAS Product With Amarpreet, Founder @ Frrole [Tuesday]

NextBigWhat Huddle has been created to ensure that working remote does not get boring and you continue to get insights + real-world lessons from founders and product leaders on building and scaling product-led businesses.

On Tuesday (April 14th), we have Amarpreet Kalkat, Founder @ Frrole joining us for an AMA on Building A Bootstrapped Global SAAS Product. The journey of Frrole bootstrapping to its current status as an AI-powered consumer intelligence platform, with global reach and client base, is one that has many lessons – which Amarpreet will be sharing with us.

SAAS companies have seen enormous growth in India while being focused on a mainly international client base. And yet, we see many SAAS products from India simply not being able to cut it at the international stage when it comes to going beyond a certain growth level.

How has Frrole managed to avoid being a cookie cutter SAAS product while bootstrapping and gaining international repute? Find out at this AMA as Amarpreet shares his perspective and also fields questions on this very topic.

When: April 14th (Tuesday) | 5 PM IST
Ideal for: Founders, Aspiring Entrepreneurs, Students

AMA On How to build a sales engine + Right-sizing With Jasminder, Co-Founder @ NowFloats [Monday]

NextBigWhat Huddle has been created to ensure that working remote does not get boring and you continue to get insights + real-world lessons from founders and product leaders on building and scaling product-led businesses.

On Monday (April 13th), we have Jasminder Singh Gulati, Co-founder @ NowFloats joining us for an AMA on How To Build A Sales Engine. Jasminder will also talk about right-sizing your capabilities and team – given the time we live in.

The traditional wisdom is that building a SAAS business in India selling to Indian SMEs is just not possible/worth it. Well, Jasminder and his team proved everyone wrong with over 130,000 merchants on their platform accounting for 5% of all traffic generated by Indian SMBs.

At the heart of this incredible sales and growth story is the art and science of building a great sales playbook engine, and Jasminder has really perfected this craft over many years. He will be sharing his lessons and journey to this effect and taking questions on this edition of Huddle, so make sure to register.

We may tend to approach SMEs with facts, numbers, and figures, trying to generalize what areas require innovation. But when it comes to SMEs, it’s not the big data that matters, it’s the small details. It’s about the small insights, it’s about ‘visibly demonstrating’ that you are helping them.

Jasminder on his approach to SMBs.

When: April 13th (Monday) | 5 PM IST
Ideal for: Founders, Sales Leads/Teams, Product Marketeers
