CBSE gets IBM to develop Artificial Intelligence curriculum

A team at IBM comprising of local and global experts are creating an AI curriculum to be taught in class 9th and 10th in CBSE affiliated schools.

CBSE has selected 1000 schools in Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad and Chennai for a trial run before finalizing the course and embedding it in the curriculum.

The project also includes creating awareness about AI among school principals which will follow a two-and-a-half-day training for teachers. For the students, IBM will offer a multi-stage training program which includes online resources, readings, and hands-on projects, etc.
