CBSE schools to offer AI, Python courses to class 8 and 9 students from 2020 onwards

Starting academic year 2020-21, CBSE will start offering AI, Python and neutral networks courses to students of Class 8th and 9th.

Curated by Intel, the curriculum will not only make students inquisitive but will also teach them basic tools that are required to develop AI-based solutions.

The real big question is : Who is going to teach these? Most schools don’t have great math teachers.

Teaching AI needs hands-on experience and we hope it isn’t the corporates who are teaching these courses (will lead to brainwashing of students and long-term bias towards certain AI platforms over others).
