Goa based startup, Roadhouse Hostels has raised an undisclosed amount of investment from Indian Angel Network.

Ambarish Raghuvanshi and Vikas Kuthiala have led this round of investment and will be joining the board of the company.

Roadhouse Hostels is a chain of backpackers’ hostel with a cool retro vibe. The company was started by a group of school friends in 2014 with their first hostel starting its operations in Goa in November the same year.

“Our journey began with our passion for traveling as we all strongly believed all that a backpacker really needs is to explore the world with decent comforts and a lively audience. It was a beginning of that idea and the dream to give our country a hostel with International feel and standards that we came up with Roadhouse Hostels. We understand the needs of a traveller quite precisely and so we provide exactly the same look and feel of a place that they would prefer staying at. IAN is amazingly structured and has guided us extensively throughout the process. We look forward to a long and a fruitful association with them,” said Uday Jhamb, Co-Founder at Roadhouse Hostels.

Presently Roadhouse is operational in Goa and Jaipur and the team is looking forward to add 5 more cities in near future.

Apart from setting up new properties the funds will be used to build the brand, setup a team and infuse technology and also an extended service for travelers.
