- The Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft executed by ISRO has successfully entered the Moon’s orbit.
- ISRO’s Telemetry, Tracking, and Command Network (ISTRAC), based in Bangalore, carried out the Lunar Orbit Injection (LOI) operation.
- A subsequent operation to reduce the orbit is planned for the following day and aim for a soft-landing on the lunar surface on August 23.
