Changhong’s H2: A Smartphone That Detects the Chemical Properties of Physical Objects

What if, you want to know the exact chemical composition of an object, say a strawberry or a medicine? Changhong H2 is a new smartphone, that can scan objects for molecular authenticity using a built-in spectrometer.

Spectrometers work by sending out a pulse of near-infrared light that causes materials in an object to vibrate. From the returned light, the exact material composition of an object can be obtained.

Embedded with a SCiO molecular sensor, it is the only phone available that can scan and analyze the chemical properties of physical objects.
The Changhong H2 is currently only available for sale in China
